Gluteal Lipofilling (BBL)

Known as the Brazilian Butt Lift, this body contouring surgery is a fat transfer procedure that uses your own natural fat to give you a natural-looking, harmonious shape.

At our clinic, we use the sophisticated ultrasound technology of Echoguided Buttock Lipofilling (EBL). This fat transfer surgery creates natural results and, most importantly, is a lot safer and allows for quicker recovery than traditional BBL surgery.

During this procedure, we use a specialised instrument to suction fat from the donor area and transfer it. The fat transfer is carefully sculpted to create your desired shape. With ultrasound guided BBL, we use a handheld device that allows us to see exactly where we are injecting, in real time. This avoids the major structures in your body, minimising the risk of serious complications. Plus, the tiny and strategically designed liposuction incisions are well concealed and will give you a very natural result.

This procedure is typically a ‘day case,’ which means you will likely get to go home on the same day.

In your consultation, Dr Mitsakos will discuss your expectations and aesthetic goals. Together, you will collaborate to design a BBL that will accentuate your curves exactly the way you want. He will also carefully explain each step of the procedure from preparation right through to recovery with you.

Liposuction
(Fat Removal)

Liposuction fat removal is a fantastic way to achieve size reduction. If you have tried lots of diets and go to the gym but still have those stubborn areas of fat, then liposuction fat removal might just be perfect for you.

Liposuction fat removal sculpts the body and creates your perfect shape by removing fat cells. It is often performed on the abdomen but can also be used on thighs, buttocks, flanks, arms, back, neck and chin.

Liposuction fat removal uses a hollow stainless-steel tube with the assistance of vacuum to remove the fat cells from beneath the skin. A maximum of 3L of fat can be removed at one time. Dr Mitsakos will discuss the reduction you are likely to achieve during your consultation.

Most patients get to home on the same day as the liposuction surgery, depending on the areas we are treating and the amount of time they have spent under general anaesthetic.

After your surgery, you will have a number of follow-up appointments with your nurse and Dr Mitsakos to ensure your new body is healing and settling properly.

Abdominoplasty
(Tummy Tuck)

Abdominoplasty, or the tummy tuck, is an excess skin removal surgery that is ideal for both men and women who have lost a substantial amount of weight to their abdomen area through either weight loss, pregnancy or ageing and now have loose, excess skin.

During abdominoplasty surgery, we make an incision along your lower abdomen, where it will be completely hidden by your underwear. The excess skin is then removed and we create a new navel, giving you a smoother, flatter appearance. For minimal scarring and greater comfort, we use dissolvable stitches or surgically glue to close the incisions.

If you have damaged abdominal muscles, we can also carry out muscle repair at the same time as your tummy tuck.

Another treatment we recommend having with your tummy tuck is liposuction fat removal. We typically carry this out on the upper and lower abdomen and the flanks. In our experience, by combining liposuction fat removal with your tummy tuck, you will get the best final result.

In some cases, when there isn’t a large amount of skin that needs to be removed, a full abdominoplasty is not necessary. This is when a mini abdominoplasty or mini tummy tuck is a good option. For the mini tummy tuck, we do not need to reposition the naval but the result is still a wonderfully flat abdomen.

Full abdominoplasty surgery typically takes 3 hours in theatre and usually patients need to stay overnight so that our medical team can ensure your best recovery.

Following your discharge the day after your surgery, you will have a number of follow-up appointments with your nurse and Dr Mitsakos to ensure your new body is healing properly and that you are completely happy with your tummy tuck results.

Thigh Lift

A healthy diet and exercise can improve the quality of your skin, but with weight fluctuation, age and genetics, it may be difficult to achieve your desired thigh shape. Thigh lift surgery reduces excess skin and fat, resulting in both smoother skin and improved contours. Thigh lift surgery is perfect for you if you want to enhance the contours and firmness of your body.

During your consultation, Dr Mitsakos will discuss your individual needs and goals with you and explain how thigh lift surgery works. For example, there are many options for different types of incisions; depending on your needs, they can be almost completely inconspicuous. Also, thigh lift surgery is often combined with liposuction on thighs to address excess of fat at the same time.

The results of a thigh lift surgery are visible almost immediately. However, it may take up to several months to fully appreciate the new shape of your thighs. You can expect the colour and consistency of the scar to dramatically improve in the first year following the surgery.

Brachioplasty
(Arm Lift)

Weight fluctuations, age and genetic predisposition may cause your upper arms to have a drooping, sagging appearance. Exercise has little effect on this type of skin texture, but an arm lift or brachioplasty can restore a tight, smooth shape. Brachioplasty is ideal if you want to firm up your arms and enhance your contours.

The arm lift, or brachioplasty procedure reduces sagging skin in the arms (also known as ‘bingo wings’) and tightens the deeper tissue of the area, enhancing the contouring of your arms.

Brachioplasty also reduces local fat pockets in this area of the body.

During your consultation, Dr Mitsakos will discuss your needs and aesthetic goals to design a procedure that suits your needs. We will also review any potential alternatives.

Brachioplasty is often combined with arm liposuction to remove excess fat. Depending on the amount of skin being removed, the incision is often barely visible.

The results of an arm lift or brachioplasty are visible almost immediately. However, it may take up to several months to fully appreciate the new shape of your arms. You can expect the colour and consistency of the scar to dramatically improve in the first year following the surgery.

I had a breast implant removal and replacement with an uplift (mastopexy). Having had cancer in the past and some concerns about my thyroid levels, I was quite anxious about having a general anaesthetic. My concerns were taken seriously from the very beginning. Additional blood tests were arranged, and the anaesthetist personally called me before the surgery to discuss everything and reassure me. This really put my mind at ease and made me feel safe and confident about going ahead with the procedure. Dr. Mitsakos was amazing from my very first consultation. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable and caring, but also very approachable. He and his whole team are everything you would wish for - professional, caring and skilled. I felt in safe hands from the first enquiry I made, the first consultation, pre-op care, the actual procedure right through to the post-op check up and with the reassurance that, should I want it, I can go back at any time for the next year. I followed all of the advice I received and recovery was painless and bruising (which was much less than I expected) was completely gone within a week. I was nervous about having the stitches removed but can honestly say that I didn’t feel a thing. Another reassurance is that all communications are quickly responded to.  There are no hidden or ongoing costs - one payment covers everything. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr Mitsakos and his brilliant team. I explore without a joke around 20 professionals around the world and it took me 11 months to make the decision and the only thing i regreat was not making the decision sooner. From minute 1 all the way to walking out of the hospital Dr Mistakos and the whole team where incredible. As you all may see i had very high expectations with the results and with the experience as i was terrrifed of anesthesia however the process was so smoth and profesional i cant express enought my level of satisfaction. I will go back for sure and if anyone wonder and looking for an amazing Dr. Ill say its with him, im a strong beliver or energy and he has an amazing aura. Sherene, Mora, Kate (the nurserses) and Dr Mustafa his energy put me at ease and even i was nervous  he handle me with such a care and wisdom i end up actually enjoying it. Thank you Thank you!!! Lots of research, consultations and different opinions considered, but Dr Mitsakos was the only one where I felt comfortable and trusted to go ahead with the surgery.
